Fresh off winning the Governor’s Cup at TAP NY 2013, the crew from Peekskill is taking over the Owl Farm! Come drink their beers and meet their team.

Located just a quick train ride from NYC in Peekskill, NY, these guys are brewing up some of the most inventive beer in NY and the country. The tentative lineup is below. All beers $5 from 6pm – 10pm.

Spring Beers + Baseball

It appears Spring has finally sprung here in Brooklyn. We love spring around here, and in our minds there aren’t many things more relaxing than drinking a nice craft brew and watching baseball on a leisurely afternoon. So on Tuesday, April 9th we’ll be featuring a lineup of spring time beers that are delicious, and that are also great for hours of watching baseball. We’ll have the Mets/Phillies game, and Yankees/Indians game going and we’ll start off the spring season right. Beers are up all day, prices get nice from 6pm to 10pm. See you there! Gypsy Brewers: March 12, 2013

In the beer world gypsy brewers are brewers who don’t have a permanent home. They travel the world brewing wherever and whenever they can find space to brew. There are pluses and minuses to this lifestyle of course. It’s hard when you don’t have a home. But on the plus side: when you don’t have a mortgage and car payment and other attachments you can spend more of your money and energy on interesting ingredients and techniques, and you can take risks without worrying as much about the bottom line. So, here at The Owl Farm, on March 12th, we’ll be celebrating the gypsy brewing lifestyle with some rare and unique brews. See the list below.

Craft Beer Wheat: 2/22 – 3/4

See what we did there?  This years craft beer week starts on February 22nd and runs for 10 days. Instead of having one special night during the week, we’ll be celebrating the whole time. We’ve picked an assortment of Wheat Beers that span across the spectrum of tastes. From light to dark, from sweet to tart, from low IBUs to high IBUs. It’s no secret that we like to do themed beer events here at The Owl Farm. Our next big beer event is Double Digit Night – All Big Beers. Super Bowl XLVII at The Owl Farm

You may have noticed that we have a couple of TVs here at The Owl Farm, they’re not always on, and we never turn on the sound; but we’re breaking from our usual policies and we’re going to turn on the sound for the Super Bowl. So invite all your friends and throw your party here. As always feel free to bring to your own snacks.

In honor of the Harbaugh Brothers fight, we’ll have the excellent Two Brothers Bitter End Pale Ale for $5 a pint/ $15 pitcher all game or til it runs out. We’ll also have Narragansett for $12 a pitcher, and our great lineup of craft beer and liquor.
