Gypsy Brewers: March 12, 2013

In the beer world gypsy brewers are brewers who don’t have a permanent home. They travel the world brewing wherever and whenever they can find space to brew. There are pluses and minuses to this lifestyle of course. It’s hard when you don’t have a home. But on the plus side: when you don’t have a mortgage and car payment and other attachments you can spend more of your money and energy on interesting ingredients and techniques, and you can take risks without worrying as much about the bottom line. So, here at The Owl Farm, on March 12th, we’ll be celebrating the gypsy brewing lifestyle with some rare and unique brews. See the list below.

See what we did there?  This years craft beer week starts on February 22nd and runs for 10 days. Instead of having one special night during the week, we’ll be celebrating the whole time. We’ve picked an assortment of Wheat Beers that span across the spectrum of tastes. From light to dark, from sweet to tart, from low IBUs to high IBUs. Every day one or two of these beers will get discounted, every day we’ll have several beers up. Watch our facebook/twitter/beermenus for daily updates.
